A Fresh Start

There's nothing more wonderful to begin the new year with, than cleaning out your desk. It not only gives you satisfaction, it also makes the dark and dreary January hours pass. On top of that, there is possibillity you'll find memos, photos or letters you thought lost. Now I wouldn't be writing this if I didn't have a good reason, so here it is. During my cleaning session I found a little note I wrote on the back of a travel schedule someone forgot. It was my first "billet-doux" to King B, whose name then was Brent. I'll spare you the details, but the fact is that I still feel the same about us. I thought that is something good to start the new year with. So, my wish for you is to find such a wonderful love of your own in 2007! About the picture, -which I copied from the wonderful book '40's; All American Ads' form Taschen- King B got me something wonderful by lingerie designer La Fille d'O for Christmas. I won't tell you what it was, but feel free to check out her webpage. Psst! Check out the links section! It's ... delicious!

Bye for now!

Welcome to my party/ Glad you stumbled in

Hello Girls (and occasional Men)!

Before I really start posting my weekly's, I'll give you the story of King B and Myself. We met only17 months ago, when we were both working on a flight to the caribbean. He was the devastatingly handsome captain and I was just a stewardess. But when I brought him his mid day bun, something made him see me and it's been fireworks ever since. We now only work on European flights, so that we have time to organise Radio Modern. Because besides our passion for each other, we have a very big passion for music, dancing en making people happy.

Well, there it is in a nut shell. I could go on writing about the months that follow, but I won't bore you with that. Besides, we must still retain some mistery, shouldn't we?

At this moment we're working on the publicity of the second season of Radio Modern. We got hold of a marvellous illustrator, so we expect it's going to be a blast. We're also busy rehearsing with our own group, the Mighty Quiffs. We'll perform at RM in April, so if you wanna see us both on stage, organise a weekender to Teuven! For the occasion I'm having a dress made by my very good friend Sara Vrugt. She has her own label called vruGt, you can see some of it at www.vrugt.com. Last week I also featured in an photoshoot for a wonderful shop called Madame Marbèr. The photo's will be online soon. See the links section for more good stuff!

That's it for now. I have to bake some Brownies for the newyears party we're attending tomorrow.

Love & kisses.

miss Lucy
